Files
Terms, delivery and refunds
Every sheet on PrintDates is free to print, and stays free. A file you buy is made from your own choices, such as a star map of your day and place, or a calendar of your family's days. Last changed October 23, 2026.
What you get
Each file is a set of print-ready PDFs, prices including tax:
- The star map ($14.99, or $19.99 CAD in Canada): the sky for one day, time and place.
- The moon print ($14.99, or $19.99 CAD in Canada): the Moon for one day, time and place.
- The family moon print ($19.99, or $27.99 CAD in Canada): two to six Moons, each for its own day, time and place.
- The personal calendar ($14.99, or $19.99 CAD in Canada): a year's wall calendar, a cover and twelve months, with up to 60 of your days, your town's sunrise, sunset and Moon, and the US or a Canadian holiday list.
- The custody calendar packet ($19.99, or $27.99 CAD in Canada): a year of the parenting-time schedule you set up, as 27 pages (a cover, twelve months, a summary and a children's calendar). It is a planning calendar, not legal advice or a legal document: your court order or parenting plan controls.
- The letter from Santa ($9.99, or $13.99 CAD in Canada): three pages for one child, a letter from Santa with the name, town and words you enter, a Nice List certificate, and a chart of the real sky over that town on Christmas Eve. Santa's letter is make-believe for your family; the sky in it is worked out from astronomy.
The prints come as one PDF each for Letter, A4, 8 × 10 in, 11 × 14 in and 18 × 24 in paper; the calendar as one each for Letter, A4 and 11 × 17 in, every page in each; the custody packet and the letter from Santa as one each for Letter and A4.
Each is drawn for what you entered, with your words, in the design and colour you picked. It is yours to print as often as you like, at home or at a print shop, for yourself or as a gift. Please don't resell the files.
The sky is calculated, not looked up: the Moon, the Sun and the planets with Astronomy Engine, on the place's own clock for that day; the stars from the Yale Bright Star Catalogue; the Moon's face and the Milky Way from NASA's maps. A calendar's holidays are the published federal, state and provincial lists. Check the preview before you buy: the files are drawn the same way, at full print resolution.
Delivery
After you pay, Stripe sends you back to a page where your files appear, usually within a minute or two, and we email that page's link to the address you paid with. The link is your way back: it keeps working for 30 days, and the find-your-files page sends it again. Then the files are deleted, with everything you entered, so download and keep them.
Remakes and refunds
- Your mistake, remade free. A typo, the wrong day, time or place, or you'd rather another design or colour: remake your files once, free, within 30 days of buying, from your files' page. The new files replace the old ones.
- Our mistake, fixed or refunded. A file that won't open or is damaged, or a sky we drew wrong: email hello@printdates.com within 60 days of buying and we'll fix it or refund you in full.
- If we can't make your files, you're refunded in full automatically.
- A change of mind isn't refunded once your files are made: they're yours to keep from that moment. The preview shows exactly what you'll get, so check it before you buy.
If Link was the seller (your receipt says), you can also ask Link's support: it refunds a file that didn't arrive, isn't as described or is broken, within 60 days. Where the law of your country gives you more, you have it. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, within a few days.

Who's selling
PrintDates, an independent site. Checkout and payment are handled by Stripe, and your receipt names the seller of record: PrintDates, or Link, Stripe's checkout, which then charges and pays any sales tax or VAT for your country. If a data source objects to a file, we stop selling it the same day.
The day, place and words you enter are used only to make your files, and are deleted as soon as the files exist (privacy).
